Subcousness and making decisions
Most of the time I have been hearing sentences like: "I am so exhausted, but I have to ride". Who tells you that you must ride? You don't have to do anything. If you don't want to, just don´t do it. Listen to yourself and make decisions by yourself. Someone tells you you have to ride every day, you have to run - if you don't complete these requests, you will not control your horse. You don't have to do anything. Does anybody force you to exercise/cook/iron every day? No. It is up to you. If you don't feel good for riding, go for a walk, let the horse free in the riding hall/circle area and play with the horse or just cuddle and enjoy each other. You don't miss anything.Has it ever happened to you that you wanted to make a different decision, but you have done the opposite? It happened, because it wasn't your thoughts/words, but the thing/situation you remember from your childhood and it is hidden deep inside us and you don't even know about it. We did something wrong and we were punished. Fear comes out. When we do something wrong, we remember it and we act like the other person wants. We act based on his/her words and thoughts.
We have patterns in our brain from our childhood about what is right and what is wrong. Because someone repeatedly told us certain opinions/facts and sometimes fears to protect us, so we don´t know what we don´t know and it seems strange for us to change our habits or even think differently than we have been taught our whole life.
